Film Tottenham Celebrating 100 Years of Community Cinema

Film Tottenham’s recent programmes brought a wave of energy and creativity to the local community, proving that cinema is more than entertainment — it’s a shared cultural experience.
Film Tottenham has joined the nationwide celebration led by Cinema For All, commemorating a century of volunteer‑led cinema. With screenings of classics and modern gems including A Clockwork Orange, Bend It Like Beckham, Singin’ in the Rain, Moonlight and Muriel’s Wedding, the programme has honoured the
resilience and innovation of community film organisers. Subtitled screenings atThe Beehive have ensured inclusivity, while affordable ticket prices have kept the spirit
of community cinema alive. There are still screenings up until the 7th December including films from the 1920s!

Marnie, Black Swan and Blue Valentine
have offered vivid storytelling and
immersive performances.
