Go Green Eco Urban Collective: Festival Highlights

by Go Green Eco Urban Collective

This summer, the Go Green Eco Urban
Festival lit up Haringey with a vibrant
programme of eco-conscious events,
engaging over 5,000 residents across June
and Plastic Free July. The initiative focused
on sustainability, creativity, and community
connection—especially among low-income
households.
Programme Highlights

  • Eco Awareness Talks: Informal sessions
on climate issues and local recycling.
  • Community Clean-Up & Garden Revive:
Outdoor litter picks and green space
    restoration.
  • Trash Art: Echo Chic: Fashion and art
    made from single-use plastics.
  • Zero-Waste Cooking: Practical tips on
    reducing food waste.
  • The Big Stitch: Upcycling textiles into
    useful garden tools.
  • Urban Gardening Workshops: Growing
herbs and vegetables in small spaces.
