Volunteer Week

Its #volunteerweek this week and we would like to take this chance to say a big thank you to all of our incredible volunteers!

Lordship Hub community centre and café was established in 2014 as a community co-operative to encourage local people to take ownership of the Hub building and make it a great community resource.

The Hub is powered by our incredible volunteers, who

– organise community activities and events

– cook, bake and serve our lovely customers in our café

– maintain our wildflower garden to the front of the Hub

– help to maintain our unique eco-building

– steer the Hub’s strategy, on finance, personnel, community engagement & environmental sustainability

– fundraise and apply for grants

– & help us all with our IT.
