Ever felt lonely?
Loneliness is a natural human emotion – we are hardwired to need social connections. But for many in our community,
particularly older people, it can be an everyday feeling that impacts on their physical and mental health.
That is why Haringey is participating in Loneliness Awareness Week 12 – 16 June, which is all about creating
supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about loneliness.
Reach and Connect will be hosting a week of social events to highlight that, by talking about it, we can support
ourselves and others.
