You Vs You Ltd is a positive approach in changing the mindset of all individuals who support young Refugees/
Asylum seeking children across Haringey & Enfield aged 14-25.
The CEO and Founder Ahmed Mohammed has been through many life challenges as a young person, as a Refugee and a Care Leaver. Due to his life experiences,he has first hand knowledge of the need to help young people find their inner strength & focus, and the importance of not giving up despite life ups and downs.
The project supports young people to have bright futures, enjoy fulfilling lives and realise their potential. By offering Oneto-One mentoring, Wellbeing
support, Sports activities, and tailored workshops. To date they have positively impacted over 50 young Refugees/Asylum seeking children by helping them to integrate in communities, understand British culture, ensuring they understands the importance of good mental health and building their confidence in enabling them to access other services in the borough.
You vs You approach makes participants feel motivated and inspired. Every individual will develop skills leading to understand how focusing on themselves can make a significant difference in one’s success.
The referral partner organisation Phoenix Community Care: housing providers for young refugees with over 20 years’ experience has been added value to the work by having key work sessions with the young people.
You Vs You will be running 6 weeks Mindfulness sessions every Thursday’s starting on the 10th March – 7th April from 4.30-5.30pm at The Trampery 639 high road.
